As an early childhood educator with more than 18 years of experience, Terry has helped transform many families make significant, long lasting, and positive changes in their family environment. The mission of Working with Parents is to support, motivate, and guide parents to develop the necessary skills to manage their children’s behaviors from toddler hood to adolescent years.

Martha Orbovich, owner of Kids First Parent Advocacy, LLC, is trained to help parents get the special education services their child needs. She has successfully advocated for her own son, who has ADHD and dyslexia, and with this on-the-ground experience and now helps other parents navigate the often-overwhelming IEP process. She has additional training in special education advocacy, works with parents on their terms, whether it be behind-the-scenes consultations, or attending school meetings with them. Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), is a national non-profit, tax-exempt (Section 501 (c) (3) ) organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD. In addition to the Web site, CHADD also publishes a variety of printed materials to keep members and professionals current on research advances, medications and treatments affecting individuals with ADHD. These materials include Attention magazine, News From CHADD, a free electronically mailed current events newsletter, as well as other publications of specific interest to educators, professionals and parents.
